In our first class we will learn how to take accurate
measurements and discuss how to use Patternmaker to print the correct
pattern for your body measurements.
First Class:
• Book: make your own clothes Patternmaker with Marie Clayton
• 2 pieces of 1” wide elastic (1 piece to fit your waist; 1piece to fit your
widest hip measurement)
• 2 safety pins
• paper and pencil

Second Class:
• Your pattern sheets that you created with your software program
• Cotton, cotton blend or lightweight wool – fabric amounts according to the
software program- Please do not purchase fabrics with Lycra, plaids, stripes
or directional prints.
• Madeira Aerofil all purpose sewing thread to match fabric
• 1” wide elastic long enough to go around your waist
