You will receive a one-time class discount off fabric and supplies
 purchased at the Stitching Post for this class. 

To attend this class, you must be able to cut your pattern out at home before class. If you do not feel secure cutting out at home, please take Sewing 101 and 201 before signing up for this class.

Pattern:
*McCalls 3541 (View A, B, C or D) or Stretch and Sew 342
*Men’s pattern is Burda 8471 (Vogue 8056)
Fabric:
*Use your bust measurement to determine your size.
**Please note-Pattern sizes are not the same as ready-to-wear
size. Please ask if you need help choosing a size**

*Fabric suggestions: cotton or cotton blends, chambray,
Linen blends, challis or light-weight crepe.
* Follow pattern envelope to determine yardage.
*Please have pattern and fabric cut out for first class and bring all
extra pieces of fabric to class.
Interfacing:
*11/4 yd. Fusiknit or So-Sheer fusible interfacing
Notions:
Hemline Glass Head Pins #679 or #667
Hemline Tape Measure #252
Viking Gray Seam Ripper
Hemline Sewing Gauge #258
Hemline Blue Fabric Marking Pen #295.F
Scissors for trimming such as Hemline #345 or Havel’s Extra Fine
Point Turner
Madeira Aerofil all-purpose sewing thread to match fabric
Buttons: 6 or 7 5/8” buttons
Viking Green Bobbin or $1 refundable deposit to rent in class

If you already have supplies such as pins, scissors etc. at home you are not required to purchase the specific items listed above. All students must purchase the pattern listed, pre-wash their fabric and have their shirt cut out before the first class.**
