For Embroidery Machines
You may use designs from HusqvarnaViking Embroidery Disk #197 to embellish
your jacket/jeans. Please come with design(s) loaded on a USB stick or
Programmable Card. Also bring with you your machine, embroidery unit, hoops,
template, template marking pencil and booklet with embroidery disk. We have
HusqvarnaViking Designer SE's in the classroom as well that you may use.
Design would need to be loaded on a USB stick.
Free Motion Yarn Couching
You may use our classroom machines for free motion work on your denim. Bring
any ideas for free motion designs with you.
Purchased denim jacket or jeans*.
Husqvarna/Viking Yarn Couching Feet Set
Yarn for couching (must be able to feed through hole of foot #1 or #2 of
set)
Invisible thread
Tear-away stabilizer
90/14 Jeans/Denim needle
Bobbins pre-wound with bobbinfil
Viking Grey Seam Ripper
Scissors for trimming
Fabric marking pencil or water-soluble marking pen
*If you wish to embroider on jeans, open up one leg seam up to above the
knee. This step will allow you to work with the leg of the jeans opened up
and make it easier to embellish.
