Sewing 101

Get started sewing—no experience necessary. All the basic sewing techniques to tackle all your sewing projects. You will learn how to do simple mending, hems, sew on buttons and other worthwhile techniques.

Quilting 101
The techniques taught in this class are quilt piecing, rotary cutting and machine quilting, to prepare you for larger quilting projects. You will complete a quilted nine patch pillow top to introduce you to the joys of quilting!

Home Décor 101
This course is designed to teach you the basic home décor techniques of cording and basic construction techniques. You will complete the quilted nine patch pillow! This class will provide you with the skills to create home decorating projects.

Basic Fit 101
Designed to teach beginning sewers how to take body measurements, basic pattern adjustments, fabric basics, how to cut out a pattern and pattern reading—everything you need to know before you can sew a garment!

Garment Sewing 101
This class is an introduction to garment sewing. You will sew a pair of pajama bottoms, teaching you seam allowances, hems, casings, seam finishes and pattern reading.
