Binder foot (SA109) Used to attach bias tape less than 7mm (finished) in width. The design of this foot places your ready made bias tape or will fold and place precut bias strips correctly for easy sewing to the edge of a fabric.

The unique design of this foot creates a flat narrow hem on lightweight fabrics. This foot looks similar to the picot foot from the top. However the groove under the foot is slightly wider and flatter to form and to create a beautiful narrow hem. Start sewing with a length of thread extended from the back. Stop, pull a piece of the top edge of the fabric through the turned part fo the foot and use the lenght of thread to grip as you start to sew and need to guide the thread through the foot.

The walking foot is great for quilting, sewing when matching prints or plaids or fabric drift is an issue . Brother offers several Walking feet which differ in the size of the feed dog, shank height etc. Please check your manual or the machine listings on this web site to find the correct walking foot to fit your machine. Walking Feet are not for use in reverse or side to side sewing as well as some built in stitches that include other than forward movement of the feed dogs.
